St. Wilfred's College of Law, Panvel is committed to maintaining an environment of academic excellence, discipline, integrity, mutual respect, and professional responsibility. All students are expected to comply with the rules and regulations of the College, the University of Mumbai, the Bar Council of India, and other applicable regulatory authorities.
- Students shall maintain discipline and decorum within the College premises.
- Students must treat faculty members, staff, visitors, and fellow students with courtesy and respect.
- Any behaviour that adversely affects the academic environment or reputation of the Institution shall not be permitted.
- Students shall comply with all lawful instructions issued by the College authorities.
- Students are required to maintain the attendance prescribed by the applicable University and regulatory norms.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected for lectures, practicals, tutorials, seminars, and other academic activities.
- Students shall participate responsibly in academic and practical learning activities.
- Students must complete assignments, projects, presentations, and other academic requirements within the prescribed timelines.
- Students shall comply with all examination rules and instructions issued by the University and College.
- Cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, fabrication of information, or any other form of academic malpractice shall be dealt with in accordance with applicable rules.
- Students are expected to maintain honesty and integrity in all academic work.
- Students are expected to maintain a neat, decent, and professional appearance appropriate to a legal educational institution.
- Students participating in court visits, internships, moot courts, legal aid activities, or other professional engagements shall follow the prescribed professional dress code.
- Students shall use classrooms, library resources, computers, equipment, and other College facilities responsibly.
- Any intentional damage to College property may attract appropriate disciplinary action.
- Mobile phones and electronic devices shall be used responsibly and must not disturb teaching, examinations, or other academic activities.
- Recording, photographing, or circulating academic or institutional content without appropriate permission is prohibited.
The College follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any act of ragging, harassment, intimidation, or conduct prohibited under applicable anti-ragging laws and regulations shall be dealt with strictly.
The College is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate conduct shall not be tolerated and will be addressed in accordance with applicable policies and laws.
Possession, consumption, distribution, or use of prohibited drugs, narcotic substances, or other unlawful substances within or in connection with the College premises is strictly prohibited and shall be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.
Students shall maintain silence and discipline in the library, handle books and resources carefully, and comply with the prescribed rules regarding borrowing, returning, and use of library materials.
Students are expected to use social media and digital platforms responsibly. They shall not misuse the name, logo, photographs, intellectual property, or official communication channels of the College without appropriate authorisation.
Violation of College rules may result in appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with the applicable University regulations, institutional policies, and governing laws. The nature of action shall depend upon the seriousness of the violation.
Every student is expected to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, respect, professionalism, academic honesty, and social responsibility and contribute positively to the academic environment of the College.
